Green Belts are usually part-time in nature, although some organizations might choose to make it a full-time position. By design, Green Belts are played out at the process level of a business enterprise and focused on making improvements within the scope and reach of Green Belts normal work-related line-of-sight.
Yellow Belts are highly focused on delivering localized improvements within the boundaries of that process workers' normal job-related duties. One of the ways they can be deployed is to execute limited line-of-sight application projects, such Six Sigma projects must be operationally scaled in scope and depth to fit within their work area and body-of-knowledge.
White Belts are pragmatically trained individuals. They possess the technical knowledge and skills necessary to enable breakthrough improvements in key processes that support the overall business aims and operational goals of an enterprise. They are individual contributors or front line managers capable of guide their organizations toward best-in-class status.
Mentors develop a personal relationship with employees and show firsthand how the company values them. As the employees’ loyalty to the company increases, the knowledge of learning how to think like a Leader in their personal life comes right back to the workplace and drives a culture of Leadership Thinking.
